Andrew Hopper
The driving force behind Live Green Homes. With a background in building and carpentry, he is passionate about improving home liveability and the construction industry’s relationship with the environment. As a carpenter, Andrew founded Hopper Homes in 2002. He joined the Hotondo Homes franchise in 2005 and together with his business partners, built Hotondo Homes Ocean Grove into a thriving local business before starting Live Green Homes in 2022.t

Richard Barton
One of our experienced New Home Specialists and has over 10 years’ experience working in the building industry. Richard lives locally and enjoys spending time with his family. In his spare time, Richard enjoys camping with family and friends, snowboarding, and surfing the local beaches. He is passionate about sustainable living and helping likeminded homeowners through the journey of designing their perfect home.

Our history
Live Green Homes was created in 2022 to support the ever-growing need for environmentally friendly homes in Geelong, the Surf Coast, and the Bellarine Peninsula. Formerly Hotondo Homes Ocean Grove, the Live Green Homes brand remains a local family-owned business, employing a local team and using local trades.
During the Hotondo Homes Ocean Grove era, the team worked with many clients who were keen to improve design and energy efficiency in new homes. Recognizing the need for high-quality, energy efficient, and environmentally friendly custom homes, Live Green Homes was created.
